In mid 2025, after over a decade of experience fronting rock bands and performing at iconic venues like NX (formerly O2 Academy), Newcastle City Hall and various festivals, Joycie was fuelled to combine that showmanship with a deep-rooted passion for country and Americana music. Drawing inspiration from UK artists such as Matt Hodges, Gary Quinn, and Jake O’Neill, he has made a bold transition into the genre.
His music leans heavily on his love for ’90s and '00s country legends and his working-class, blue-collar roots, delivering raw storytelling and emotional depth in every performance.
